You don't make any sense. Brand name sells PS3s? That could have been the case at launch and shortly thereafter, but this late in the game, it has nothing to do with brand name, but with consumers deciding to purchase the system over the XBOX 360. There's obviously some sort of shift going on from last year to this year, but the sales don't lie. There's no way that sales would pick up on "brand name". I mean, brand name has been there from the start. If that was the case, then from the start, PS3 would have been outselling the 360. But it hasn't. What has happened is people have realized is that the PS3 software line-up isn't as bad as people would have you to believe, and the fact that the system has a higher perceived value over the XBOX 360 (Blu-Rayz). What I said was true: Being outsold by the competitor that you (MS) claims to have a weaker library, online infrastructure, and higher price point is horrible. No spin on that. And something needs to be changed. |
They're not being outsold by Sony on a consistent basis. The shift is from MGS4 and the anticipation of LBP.
