The PS3 is doing much better year over year for one main reason: 2007 was a write off for the PS3. There aren't many places to go but up when you're on the bottom floor in an elevator.
Saying that, the PS3 IS doing very well this year. So is the 360. So is the Wii. Everyone is doing much better this year than they were last year. That's why we see enormous growth in our most beloved industry.
