I find it interesting how many good development teams - Factor 5, Free Radical, and now Silicon Knights - find themselves struggling with the HD consoles, to the point where they're forced to release unexciting, often buggy and unfinished games. Perhaps the argument that the world wasn't ready for the move to HD gaming actually holds some weight.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
