As long as there are pirated copies of movies being made, you can expect DRM. Average estimated loss to the movie industry is in the billions per year. If it was my product, and I needed funding for my next movie, I would not want my shit stolen. Renting and burning is also a problem. If you think that renting and burning is alright, you are an immoral person.
