I'm 27 (right handed) and I carry my wallet either in my left breast pocket when I'm wearing a suit or coat, if not it is my right FRONT pocket of my pants.
It has been that way since an episode of Seinfeld when George was warned by a medical health practitioner that his wallet was throwing his spine off balance by him sitting on it.
Not sitting on a wallet is much more comfortable.
