Oh yeah, this is one of those things where you'd expect the thread creator to say that guys are better but he says that girls are better because it's still considered ironic by society that girls would be better at anything.
Anyways, from personal experience, guys are still better. Men have just been playing videogames in larger numbers, and with girls only now starting to catch up, it would make sense that men are better at playing games. The majority of women I've played with are okay at videogames. But if you look at the professional level, such as tournaments for games, there are still a lot of women who are great at said game but the best players are pretty much always men.
