Oh please, you're telling me that an average of nearly ALL gaming review sites is fair, no matter how biased they are towards a system? Let's see: Ninja Gaiden - Heavily marked down for not being a big leap from no.1 and somewhat cheap AI, despite most reviewers saying it has the best combat engine in the genre. VS Heavenly Sword - Marked down for being way too short (6-8 hours) and given marks up for being the only decent game PS3 saw for a while AND being a new IP. Play both and come back and tell me that Heavenly Sword is as good as Ninja Gaiden II. Also, sales figures? pointless, one was released 3 months ago and the other a year ago. Also note one is now platinum which is $50 AU VS $119 RRP for the other ($79 if you bargain shop). Also, I notice you didn't make any comparisons with Lair, then why bold it? @axumblade who wrote: What about Ninja Gaiden 2? Lost Odyssey? Blue Dragon? Kameo? Tenchu Z? Ninety-Nine Nights?
Did people forget the words "High Profile" releases? |
Um, the first Ninja Gaiden was my favorite game of all time, but I liked Heavenly Sword better than NG2. NG2 was one of my biggest let downs ever.
