But I question the rest of you who name companies like Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft. I hope you realize that the games industry would take a huge hit if any of the three left. Fanboys that want to see one of the big competitors destroyed don't realize they need to be careful in what they wish for.

 

I would like to see Square-Enix split back into their respective companies (Squaresoft and Enix), but in no way would I want any of their franchises to actually go.

This. I have a feeling that the old Squaresoft used to make much better games, and Enix just took the credit now.

And no thanks, I hope Capcom is going to stay here for a long time. They have some of the best IPs ever, and their NES/SNES era was amazing.
