Yeah, Capcom felt like it was treading Silent Hill's territory with this game as it was.
I don't think that RE4 is scary, but it has tons of thrills though. Split second dodging and stuff was awesome. The first time I played the game, I used to think that you could put the controller down during cutscenes...
