Though if i can buy any other electric drumset and make it work with GH/RB 2, i might as well do that. For how much can i get one?

I just added a bunch more to that post FYI, and yes you can buy it for $300..and AFAIK it works for WT as well.  Because it is an actual drum set it should connect right into the midi port on the WT drums.

Also you can do some things with the WT drum set like grabbing a splitter and adding a second kick pedal for double bass kick.
