I'm a hardcore RPGer... I'm disappointed with FF since #7 I'm giving it one last chance with 13 and that's it. I think Versus 13 is a spin off and nobody can convince me otherwise and I think I.U. looks amazing.
P.S. I loved Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata!
