You can't split up the Americas by USA-Canada-Latin America at like 90-7.5-2.5 because it isn't that standard. On average, its something like that, but it varies by company. 360 is quite strong in Mexico, Wii does pretty well in Canada, PS3 is probably in more countries than the first two, but it costs up to $2000 in parts of Latin America.

That isn't what I'm talking about.  Assuming VGC actually gets seperate data from the US, Canada, etc, why can't we have an actual US number based on US data.  We have that for a lot of European countries, so I don't see why we can't for the Americas.

Actually, you are proving my point.  It isn't a standard breakdown across all countries, so we should use the actual United States figures and not the America's number minus 10%.  It would cut down on people comparing all of the Americas to NPD, and people making assumptions on Latin America sales.

We can get back-up for most of our datas in Europe, to check that they're correct. With Canada and LA, we can't, except for some numbers every year.

Here's an estimate of end of 07 total sales for consoles:

X360: 8.34M

Ps3 - 3.14M

Wii - 6.68M

Mexico had:

Ps3 - 60K

X360 - 550K

Wii - 220K

Canada had

Ps3 - 310K

X360 - 710K

Wii - 650K

Rest of LA had roughly the same as Mexico numbers.
