if the ps3 ran normal dvd's, Sony wouldn't have put the cell processor in their also. So the ps3 probably would have had a much lower starting price than $400, probably would have been $300. At which point the Wii wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is because Sony selling the ps3 at $600 really opened the door for Nintendo.
