Bioshock does not have the selling power of a FF game. This kind of praise is reserved for the cream of the crop such as...

Halo

Final Fantasy

God of War

Mario

Zelda

Gears

etc.

These kinds of games that of an established successful franchise can sell a console alone, even if there are no visible other games that a customer likes. Proven!

 

 God of War is amazing, there is no doubt. But its not really a hardware seller?
