Unless we have underestimated the possibility of success for FFXIII and it sells 15mil(exact amount of PS3s now) then there will be plenty of people who, if not were initially interested in the game, can pick it up on a whim. That seems to be what this ideal is. People who were not initially interested heavily in the game are now going to MAGICALLY pick it up cuz it was on their system now. The 360 will sell some, yes, but if it had stayed exclusive that number would have been added to the PS3, and thats the hard to swollow truth. I work at an area of gaming commerce, this is a topic that arises fairly often, 360 owners WERE goingto buy a PS3 for FFXIII, maybe not all, but a lot of the coinciding fans were. EDIT: And now the game is also delayed because of its Multiplatness, I call that effecting the PS3 version, dont you? |
Yes actually, they will. It may be hard for some to believe, but people are much more willing to spend $60 to play a game than $460.
