The "Tales of" series, and exactly why Vesperia is a "big deal"

Tales games get poor reviews in they states. This game will be no different. Tales of the Abyss I believe averaged a 79 or something like that, despite being the best in the series. These games are very traditional, and anime themed.

FF games get high scores for a reason. However, Tales of Symphonia is right up there with some of the lesser FF games, imo, and a great JRPG. Dont' let reviews fool you. If Vesperia game scores 80 percent on gamerankings, it'll probably be the best Tales game ever released.

Tales of Symphonia got an 86. It's one of my favorite JRPGs. A triumph.

 

Nobody's hyping this game to get AAA on gamerankings. It won't.

Proof that reviewers in the West are biased against JRPGs not called Final Fantasy.
