Alasted said: You can get pretty far with 4 Wiimotes just 2 nunchucks. I've downloaded a bunch of Virtual Console games, and I still haven't purchased a classic controller. The control scheme is a little wonky, but I've made do with a Gamecube controller for my SNES VC games. My advice would be to get 1 extra nunchuck and 2 extra Wiimotes for your siblings (3 extra Wiimotes if you're expecting more company), and purchasing other peripherals on an as-needed basis. |
I second this.
If there are just three of you, then I would say you want 2 extra remotes (one may as well come from Wii Play.... shooting and tanks are worth the money between them)
And 1 extra nunchuck plus either GC controller or a classic would be my reccomendation.... then depending on what you and your siblings prefer in Smash Bros (be it wiimote+nunchuck, or GC/Classic) you will want extras of the prefered method, so if you all like remote+nunchuck then just a third nunchuck.... or if you like traditional then extra classic/GC.
I have got along fine with 2 extra remotes (3 in total) and 1 extra nunchuck.... although I already had a standard GC and a wavebird.
