Most review sites including IGN said the PS3 version had better graphics than the 360 version and it continues to have a higher Game Rankings score right up until today. Many articles were posted last year in which Rockstar said the 360 version was the one that was holding up the game's development and it is still doing so as no released date has been set for the 360's fabled exclusive downloadable content for GTA IV.
"Is that why the game ran at a higher resolution and frame rate with AA on 360 with no install and the PS3 version ran at a lower resolution and frame rate with no AA even with the benefit of an install? Is that also why screens of the 360 were shown last year and screens and videos of the PS3 version didn't show up until this year?"
