How did the repair work? Did you call Sony and they sent you a box to put it in and you send it back (360-like)?

what they do is arrange for a delivery guy to bring you a new ps3, and he takes your old one on the same day. so they don't repair your ps3, they just replace it with a re-manufactured console. (same motherboard with new parts.)

my ps3 broke on saturday night, i called them sunday morning, got my new ps3 this morning. quick or what?
