Nintendo said that there's gonna be an old acquaintance in Super Mario Galaxy and that got me thinking who could it be. When I saw the GDC trailer and thought about 5 seconds, it became clear that Yoshi would be back. I think the Yoshi egg in the space was delibarate hint of that. Yoshi would make perfect sense considering the Wii's control system (aiming the tongue and eggs for example). I personally would have wanted a Yoshi-free game though. What do you think? Was I late?
