I don't mean to be an asshole, but you're entirely wrong and must have a brain malfunction, my girlfriend who is terrible at games got a good half of the puzzle pieces before 'finishing' and enjoyed it to death, and does want to go back and get more, just because someone can't beat it the whole way naturally doesn't mean they can't enjoy it.

More so, use a guide or have someone help you if you want to beat it and can't.

I don't know if you actually read my post or not but remember I said Braid is a fantastic game.  I also said it just isn't a game for everybody.  Sure, a lot of people will like it and it's awesome your girlfriend likes it but that doesn't mean Joe blow will also love it.

But of Joe Blow starts reading message boards and sees topic after topic of OMG Braid is awesome!!!  Even my GF LUVS iT!!! GET THIS GAME LOL then he will probably be tempted to get the game.  What that super informative person didn't bother telling poor Joe is that the game is hard, can be very frustrating, and you can't really brute force your way through puzzles like you can in something like Portal.  They're going to get the game and since they don't like puzzle games, don't have the patience, don't have the skill, or whatever they're going to hate it.

Demo. Any 360 capable of buying Braid is capable of downloading the demo and trying out World 2. That should give anyone a good enough impression of the game to make their own informed decision. So again, why this game and not any others with a warning thread? If anything all warning threads should go to Wii games since you can't demo them.

If I remember correctly World 2 is actually pretty simple for the most part.  I remember playing through that world thinking the game would be a breeze.  By the time I got to the mind fuck that was World 4 I knew I was completely wrong.

True, the demo will help but it doesn't paint the full picture.  Also it doesn't change my main point that *everyone* is telling everyone else to just buy this game regardless of what they like.  I didn't even try the demo for this game (I don't often try demos because they're often shit and give me a bad taste) and just dived right in because everyone was telling me to get the game.  Luckily I love puzzle games so it was a good game (I didn't even know it was a puzzle game).
