Is your opinion that it's ok to be despotic if the people have an ok life? Yes, if its a qulity life then there is no issue in my eyes. (just so long as they don't speak out against the government I dont see Russia getting to that point, as I mentioned there are plenty of anti-governemt papers all over Russia.)

Seeing that ive visited Moskow, Saint Petersburg and at least 8 other smaller Russian cities in the last 2 years I dont think that Im suffering from location bias. And bealive me I like puting political questions to the locals, often even iritating them :P
