well you never know, in many countries and states 18 means different things. Over here, not only can you buy alcohol, but you can buy cigarettes, get your license, basically once you're 18 you can do anything that's legal for anyone. So it's generally a pretty big deal. Course, in USA you can't rink till you're 21 (crazy people, I still remember going there and being refused alcohol despite the fact that I'd been drinking responsibly for 2 and a half years...)

Here you can get your licence at 16 and I have no interest in cigarettes. Alcohol isn't a big deal... That's why I'm saying that turning 18 isn't as great as some people belive.
