Maybe because games that are small in scope are perfect for handheld gaming?

Games like Dragon Quest nine, Pokemon, or Monster Hunter tend to disagree.

I never said those games do not lend themselves well to handheld gaming. My point was that games small in scope are better off on handhelds than on consoles. It doesn't work the other way around. As my small bit of evidence, Puzzle Quest, Exit, Every Extend Extra, Lumines and N+ are on Xbox Live and at least one of the two handheld devices.

And that's an opinion.

The fact is that games that aren't small in scope are the biggest sellers on handhelds.
