That's one of the reasons I love my Wii: It's getting the most new IP of any other system out there, except perhaps the DS. If you look at the Wii's lineup for the rest of the year, the only big IPs are Fatal Frame IV and Animal Crossing. Many of the others are extremely promising-looking new IPs.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
