It could have been me, but I saw quite a few advertizements for Katamari Damacy and there were some coverage in general interest "Entertainment-News" shows that have some coverage of videogames. Now, Little Big Planet will receive far greater coverage but (as has been demonstrated by games like Heavily Sword and Uncharted) even good games which are heavily marketed and are well suited to the demographics of a system do not (necessarily) end up with amazingly high sales.
