Every holiday season is as important, regardless of this year, next year, or the following year.
Hardwares and softwares are directly porportional.
If sales are great this year, the next year will reap from that. You don't wait until the next year and suddenly some miracle happen.
That said, it's very important to pick up wind fast early on. The wind might slow down after it picks up but the chance of it starting slow and then pick up high wind is much less propable.
Sony CEO's said so many "wrong" things that I wonder if they get any repercusion for saying such.
