I actually agree. I said earlier, this game wasn't really hyped as much as Sony fans try to claim. I think most people expected average-mediocre scores based off the many, many previews that said this game wasn't AAA.

As for that statement, a year ago, yes, it was very hyped. Two months ago, not so much. Last month, since the GAF debacle and the previews, interest waned significantly.

Nobody was making "Too Human" threads like they were just before Haze, MGS4, or even Tales of Vesperia were/are released. It just wasn't very hyped lately.

 

So, pretty much all these upcoming releases are more hyped than Too Human, for 2008, on the 360 or 360/PC, imo:

 

Tales of Vesperia

Infinite Undiscovery

Fable II

Left 4 Dead

Gears of War 2

The Last Remnant

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts(Yes, even this)

Alan Wake and Halo Wars are both way more hyped than Too Human, 2009

Not to mention a ton of multiplats that are very hyped, like Mirror's Edge and Resident Evil 5.

 

If any of these bomb, it would hurt. Too Human, not so much. That's my take. Might be wrong, but I just haven't seen many people all excited about Too Human, lol.

Sounds like downplaying here.  Nothing personal though.
