The reason Monster Hunter is on the PSP is so Capcom could rehash the PS2 assets for lower development costs. This is Capcom we're talking about, the best "vision" to come out of them this generation was Mega Man 9.
And what's with this new "if the PS3 starts selling" apologist bull all of a sudden? It's not going to make FF13 goexclusive again and it's not going to swing Monster Hunter back to the PS3. The PS3 might get a spinoff somewhere down the line but there's little to go off to suggest that Capcom might ping pong between the two consoles before the game even gets released.
