There are channels that you have to go through to attract customers, but usually it's a chain, certain customers like myself for example aren't easily attracted without word of mouth, everyone has their case.
Could it sell to everyone like Wii sports did? I don't think so, for a lot of people Wii Sports and Brawl were the reasons for picking up the Wii.. two very clashing ends... Wii sports is the bench mark for innovation and Brawl is the epitome of traditional.
Can LBP fit in there? Innovative value.... I don't know.. in order for something to be recognized for that innovation it has to be marketable; Sega had PSO and online.. the first to bring online functions to a console... they went bankrupt. So innovation doesn't always mean $.
Sony from what I've heard has been putting their best leg forward.. I'll you tube some of their ad's in a bit.
