Good news, although Georgia says there are still bombings going on (who knows if it's true...). Either the Russians are confident they hit their objectives, or there was some behind-the-doors diplomatic deal.

An important concern is whether this "end of military operations" will also apply to the Russian-backed Abkhazian separatist forces who were supposedly moving to attack Georgian forces. If those continue their attacks, things could spiral out of control again.

 

Listening to the news this morning they were talking about there being video of the attacks continuing. I wasn't really watching the screen but they also did an interview with a field reporter who was saying they watched the bombings continue this morning.
