Thats the first time I've ever heard that. Where was it ever implied Halo was coming to the PS2? Before Microsoft bought Bungie there were no plans to bring Halo to any console and after Microsoft bought them I'm pretty sure they weren't going to let one of their major launch titles go to the PS2.

That was an interesting read however it seemed like it was based off a rumor more than anything. When ssj12 said it was supposed to have been released for PS2 and then cancelled I assumed there had been an official announcement of the game coming out on the PS2, which there never was.

I can't honestly say if Bungie ever planned to release a version for PS2 and Dreamcast.  That may have been a red herring cooked up by Bungie to throw snoopers off the scent while they were in talks with MS.

However, you did ask "Where was it ever implied Halo was coming to the PS2?"  Well, that's one of the places it was implied.
