I think "High crimes and Misdemeanors" is the best approach. Hopefully congress will use that one.

 

But why haven't they? Democrat-majority Congress no less? Whether there intentions were good or bad, they would have ample motivation to impeach.

They are afraid impeaching Bush will energize the right base and cost Obama the election.

Why do you think Clinton left office with the highest approval rating since like... FDR.

That and they're lazy. They said they'd end the republican days of the "do nothing" congress yet they've been WORSE.

Probably waiting out the clock so that they don't have to make any compromises after the next election.

I think you understand why congress is slow right now. Bush has stated that he will veto any resolution that is against his policies.

Oh btw you do know that the biggest news stations in the world have nothing but contempt for Bush, and during his years our relations with the rest of the world have gone to shit. I have seen "f*** america" and Bomb the USA" "fu*k bush" in many countries.

Everyone loved the clinton, and it wasn't just the boom. It was world relations, it was ultra taxing the rich. it was our income per person.

bush almost removed wealthy taxes and even now mccain ads say the obama wants to raise taxes. yeah, he does, for the rich and the billion dollar businesses.

the people that defend bush say, oh but then those companies won't want to do business in the US. yeah, right... like a business is going to want to avoid the largest, wealthiest population in the world

Oh yeah... i'd rank Bush waaaaay at the bottom of presidents and Clinton near the top.  Just saying that's why.

They could at least TRY though.... i mean what they are doing now is why Congress somehow has a lower approval rating then Bush.

All the shit Bush did and the congress is still seen as worse.  I mean push out some legislation and make him look like the bad guy.  It's not like a veto prevents you from submitting the same law again when the president isn't bush.
