Expect the average age of a console owner is in the 30's, so kids don't apply.

Also, when you poll people (on this site, and anywhere else) why they don't have a PS3, it's always Price that is by far the main answer. When you ask this of why people don't own a 360, it's almost never price.

This could have something to do with perceived value. A 360 at $300 is a far better return on investment then a PS3 at $400.

The people who own PS3, seem to care less about the value, and more about the functionality.

Those people have more money. Sorry, it's just the truth.

Hm.  That average flies well against every other study i've seen on it. 

Including this very study in the OP in some ways. 

I'll have to download this and take a look at their methods section.
