Expect the average age of a console owner is in the 30's, so kids don't apply.
Also, when you poll people (on this site, and anywhere else) why they don't have a PS3, it's always Price that is by far the main answer. When you ask this of why people don't own a 360, it's almost never price.
This could have something to do with perceived value. A 360 at $300 is a far better return on investment then a PS3 at $400.
The people who own PS3, seem to care less about the value, and more about the functionality.
Those people have more money. Sorry, it's just the truth.
