BluRay really isn't the reason why I bought a PS3 nor would it ever be. But it is a nice bonus, I have not bought a BluRay movie yet (since i can get stuff off the internet and watch it on my 32inch monitor and my Z5500) but I'll have to get Ironman and batman when it comes out on bluray because I want it on my shelf. In the end it doesn't really matter since I buy every console anyway.
