For those who like JRPGs, how promising are Infinite Undiscovery and....

IU not original?  You must have high standards for originality if you think IU is unorignal.  The gameplay is a little different from from the typical JRPG.  JRPGs are slowly becoming stale so IU is actually going to be fresh air for a lot of people.  Other than the used take on the turn based battle system though, The Last Remnant does look like a typical S-E RPG but it still looks good.

 

I was talking about the characters design. They all seem to look similar: FFXIII, IU, The Last Remnant and Star Ocean. I know they want to do "realistic" looking games but they need to do it for all of them. It's not like Namco who tries different things with Tales and Eternal Sonata. I also have to admit I have trouble remembering which one is which. The combat system in IU looks good though. So to answer the question, I think they all look as promising and I couldn't say which one interests me the most before playing it. I'll grab them both anyway.
