Microsoft makes the OS, which is what's supposed to count regarding platforms. If the 360 started letting third parties make the hardware like Samsung and others making their own 360's, wouldn't it still be Microsoft in control? Also can the games run on a different OS on a PC? (I honestly don't know so that's supposed to be a real question)
