Dude, 720p is a higher resolution than 1080i. It's confusing I know, but is true.

1080p > 720p > 1080i > 480p

 

Let me tell you something. RESOLUTION DOES NOT MATTER.One EX: Doom 3 was 480p for a reason. 720p would mess the whole damn thing. Higher res means more clarity but not better graphics. Take it in(EVERBODY)

When did I said that resolution does matter ? I was just trying to explain what resolution is higher than another to the poor lad.

And resolution freaking matters, in Windows :)
