Mario isn't even mario anymore. I bet they just have a model with preloaded animations and then they make liek 50 games and stick the animation in their and sell it :) lol. Super Mario Galaxy could have been any other person and still be as good, of course it wouln't sell anywhere near as well but still be as good.
