It's not up to the designer, or whatever.
The customer (and reviewers) will decide which game is better, which game they like better.
Designers should keep an open mind and portray it as such.
While they can (and should) boast about their game, they have no right to bash / diminish a game (especially one they have not played or even touched).
People like Cliffy B should keep quiet or learn to say intelligent, respectful things.
