Want to save yourself a spot in the public testing of the PlayStation Home Beta? Nothing easier. Just grab yourself the new PlayStation Home theme for your PlayStation Store. This automatically counts as your application to join the Beta test community.
Eligibility though, is another matter. A variety of criteria will be used for the invites, including activity on the PlayStation Network. Even if you don't get picked for the Beta, the design for the Home theme for the PS Store still looks worth updating for. If you're part of the existing community of the closed Beta though, you're automatically in, so no worries for you.
Sony Europe will also be beginning their expanded closed beta, and will also be targeting consumers who have been most active on the PlayStation Network and PlayStation Store. SCEE will soon be contacting their own PSN audience, if they haven't done so yet.
