The PS3 40 gig has very less stock right now. Its easy to check that.
Go to Circuitcity.com -> Video Gaming -> PLaystation 3 and 2
You will see NO PS3 40 gig in stock at all, only the MGS4 80 gig is showing.
Also go to Walmart.com -> Video Games -> Playstation 3
The only $399 PS3 40 gig unit is out of stock online and also not available in stores.
Its safe to say that PS3 stock is low and we won't see high sales in the next few weeks, nothing to worry about though as it only means Sony has sold thru its existing stock.
It is better to die on one's feet
then live on one's knees
