Yes but if they did "moneyhat" FFXIII then more then likely they wouldn't even make a point to debunk it.  They would just never bring it up.  Did they ever come out and deny any other type of compensation for others games that featured timed exclusive?  No, because it look like they did "moneyhat" a few games before hand.  It actually makes perfect sense why SE would make the game multiplat if you look at the situation with some common sense and without bias.

I hope this will squash a few fanboy talking points but more then likely only for the sensible few.  The hard edge insecure fans will likely ignore any evidence to the contrary no matter how convincing.
