While I totally agree with your anti-Nintendo feelling, you're missing some things.
NPD was 5 weeks in Jan, but only 4 in Feb. That is why you see lower numbers for all systems. Therefore, the Wii dropping from 436k to 335k, was about the same. 436/5=~87k per week. 335/4=~85k per week. Not much real difference, considering it's still sold out.
And in Japan, I dont know if it's true but people keep saying Wii is still sold out, so, we dont really know much about the sales, until supply catches up. The sale number is basically just fluctuating with however many Nintendo ships. I'm not entirely concinced Wii is sold out in Japan, though. GAF says it is, but GAF lies through their teeth for Nintendo. But I would guess it's at least mostly sold out.
