Alas it's not quite as good as that. The power isn't on angle, it's on timing. It's just a fancy way of waiting for a power bar to fill, except you don't even get to see the power bar. Your start pulling back the Wiimote. No matter what angle you stop it at, Tiger keeps swinging back until you move the Wiimote forward again. The power is calculated by how far Tiger moves back his club in the time it took you to do your swing, even if it's a tiny movement if it's slow enough you'll do full power. I agree about the tilt being much much better than the accelerometer as well. The pointer is really good when it's put to good use too, I'd love to see more innovative point-and-click games like Trauma Center.
