Yeah, that's definitely possible, but imho, it's easier to believe in a "god" than the physical laws of the universe just randomly appearing out of nowhere. (note the "easier" thing to believe is not necessarily true, but most of the time, it seems it is)

 

Well I find it incredibally difficult to believe in the idea of an eternal and infinitely complex being. I just don't see such a situation occuring.

However with how we are finally being able to see the intricate complexity of quantum theory with its changes in dimensions and complete unpredictability - I can well see how the universe might have come from nothing. Given on your definition of nothing of course.
