oh no, thats dissapointing, I was hoping to use the clutch with this. Then why keep the clutch at all? |
For sequential shifting, some games (GT for sure) has modes that allow it. The thing is that there's no software that forces you step on the clutch if you use normal 6 speed MT mode since there's really no way for a game to figure out which gear you're in because the G25 doesn't lock up the shifter when the clutch isn't pressured. I know, it's sad.

Same thing as I told ocnkng, since the G25 doesn't lock up the shifter when the clutch isn't pressured, there'd be no point for the game to force you to press the clutch before changing gears in 6speed MT. Inorder to use the G25's clutch on GT5P, you need to press a button (sry i forgot, maybe triangle?) before the race starts (on the select screen) and it'll change the standard 6speed stick into a sequential shifter that only moves up and down. In that mode, you have to press down the clutch inorder to chance gears but you must remember to press the top of stick down and flip the switch to the left side (or right, i forget) to chance the G25 into Sequential shifting mode.
