No. The shifter moves without holding the clutch down. It's the only REAL flaw about the G25 (besides the loose stick IMO), either way, most games don't have a system to recognize exactly which gear you are in. But yes, there is a clutch, and the G25 is pretty badass. The wheel resists according to the momentum of the car and there are 2 strong motors on the thing.

 

oh no, thats dissapointing, I was hoping to use the clutch with this. Then why keep the clutch at all?
