Should we break games that can be broken?

I rember a racing game.

We raced in 6 player races

I always finished 5th and on one track I was 2nd (Everyone was missing a bridge and going on to an earlier part of the track).

Then I crossed the grass at the finish line and dropped down to to 6th and ended up in 5th
